2012-06-29 - Saudi Gazette - The Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (Hay'a) has officially inaugurated its new control room which will enable it to monitor the movements of its field staff, Al-Watan Arabic daily reported. The control room which was officially opened at its headquarters in Riyadh and will enable officials to track field staff Kingdomwide. The new system will also enable the Hay'a to distribute its patrols according to geographic location. The system is designed to alert the control officer if a commission member leaves his designated area.
