After a sluggish start into 2012, shares of Saudi Ceramic rebounded by 0.20%. Earier in the day, Saudi Ceramic announced that its Board of Directors has approved the scheme of a new tiles production line with a capacity of four million meters annually. The project is expected be completed at the start of 2013. Saudi Ceramic added: "After the completion of this project the designed production capacity of the tiles Plants will reach 64 million meters. If the project is operated at full capacity, the expected sales increase will be SR64m per year, bearing in mind that the cost of this project will be around SR22.5m."
