Tadawul bourse slips as fourth IPO in 2011 by eXtra is announced
2011-10-30 - AMEinfo.com | Saudi Arabia | Latest News - Saudi Arabia: The Tadawul All Share Index (Tasi) dipped 0.10%, closing at 6,229.64 points. Traders booked profits at Sabic, after the petrochemicals and metal producer hit a three-month high on Saturday. Earlier in the day the Capital Market Authority (CMA) announced it has approved United Electronics Company's (known as eXtra) Initial Public Offering of 7.2m or 30% of the company's total outstanding shares. Portion of the offered shares will be allocated to institutional investors. The company's shares will be offered during the period from December 5to December 11, once the book-building process is complete. eXtra will mark the fourth IPO in KSA this year. Three IPOs so far reached an amount of $317m.
