Saudi aims to triple tourism revenues
2008-03-27 - AME Info | Saudi Arabia | Latest News - Saudi Arabia hopes to almost triple revenues from domestic tourism by 2010, to SR101.3bn from SR35.6bn today. It also want to push massive employment growth in the sector, targeting 1.5 million jobs by 2025 compared to 342,000 today. Of that, 32% will be Saudi nationals. In 2006 tourism made up 3% of the kingdom's gross domestic product.
