The initiatives include training and scholarships covering a wider section of employees at medical, technical and administrative levels; setting up a healthcare learning and simulation centre in Riyadh; establish and deploy a new e-health interoperability standards programme; and ongoing assessment by the ministry and General Electric to explore opportunities for the localisation of medical devices, the ministry said.
