Saudi oil exports up 143,000 to 9.9m bpd in January
2012-03-19 - AMEinfo.com | Saudi Arabia | Latest News - Saudi Arabia: According to data by the Joint Organisations Data Initiative (JODI), Saudi Arabian oil exports rose 143,000 barrels per day (bpd) in January month-on-month, Reuters has reported. The kingdom produced 9.871 million bpd crude in January, 61,000 bpd more than December, while exports rose more than twice as much to 7.507 million bpd, the data showed. Saudi Arabia has stepped up efforts to assure edgy markets it will make up any oil supply disruptions at a time of heightened tension over Iran's disputed nuclear programme.
