2012-02-13 - AMEinfo.com | Saudi Arabia | Latest News - Saudi Arabia: Around a fifth of private secondary schools in Saudi Arabia have been prevented by the education ministry from setting their own questions for final examinations starting from the second semester of the current academic year, Arab News has reported. The decision was based on recommendations by a special committee comprising representatives of various educational departments asked by the ministry to evaluate the levels of questions and examinations in all private schools in the kingdom. The local department of education will set the questions and mark papers for schools prevented from setting exam questions, the ministry said.
