"Runways, courses and courtyards have been built to accommodate the new giant airplanes," said Eng. Muhammad Bin Ahmed Abid, general supervisor of KAIA's Development Project. These parts of the project will be completed by the middle of next year, he added. "Work at the aviation, aviation safety standards and monitoring buildings has been completed. A total of 69% of excavation work has been finished as well. The project will be finished by the end of next September," Abid said.
