Janadriya Festival opens today
2007-02-13 - Arab News - King Abdallah bin Abd al-Aziz will inaugurate the Janadriya Heritage and Culture Festival today, the largest cultural event in the Kingdom. The festival will open with an opera and camel races, and will feature heritage models highlighting the different regions of the country. King Abdallah, Commander of the National Guard which organizes the event every year, established the festival in 1985.
