2008-04-01 - AME Info | Saudi Arabia | Latest News - Saudi Arabia's National Human Rights Society is urging the kingdom to unblock restricted access to websites belonging to Arab and international human rights organisations, reported Gulf News. Dr Saleh Al Hothalan, chairman of the private organization, said websites such as Human Rights Watch, Reporters Without Borders and the Arabic Network for Human Rights Information have been blocked inside Saudi Arabia. He said blocking these sites deprives the kingdom of its rights as a member of the UN Human Rights Council.
