Prince Saud al-Faysal: Families to Decide on Women Driving
2007-11-03 - Saudi Gazette - Women should be allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia, but it is not for the government to impose such changes on society, Foreign Minister Saud bin Faysal bin Abd al-Aziz has reiterated. "Myself, I think they should drive," Prince Saud told Britain's Channel 4 news following a state visit by King Abdallah bin Abd al-Aziz to London this week. "But (we) are not the ones who decide on that. It has to be the families who decide on that.".
