King Abdallah declines to receive Iraq leader
2007-04-29 - Washington Post - King Abdallah bin Abd al-Aziz has refused to receive Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, just before a key regional summit on Iraq's future to be held at Sharm al-Shaykh in Egypt on Thursday. The official reason given by the Saudis was a scheduling conflict, although it is believed that the decision reflects the Saudi's unhappiness that Maliki is not doing more on reconciliation.
